One of very single girlfriends has finally moved into her dream home. She is one of the most gorgeous women I know, but she has resigned to the fact that having a husband and kids is not going to be the life for her. It took her years to save up and build her own house, and finally, over the weekend, she has asked all of us, her friends from way back in middle school, to be at the housewarming party.

The house is extra-ordinary and beautiful. It is spacious but very simple. Living with my friend is her mother and two other sisters who are still in private high school and whose education she is supporting. Since there will be no man in the house, I know that there will be days when they would have to rely on themselves to do some of the work we actually let our husbands do. So, as a housewarming present, I thought it would be useful to give her this Multi Tool Pliers & Light. My friend was actually amused by it. She says she was going to learn to use it or have her male cousin teach her how. As it turns out, the male cousin just lives a few blocks off her new house, which is kind of a relief as they will have a “handy” man nearby.
