Short Circuit on Christmas Lights Can Cause Fire in The House

Neighbors of ours recently met a very unfortunate incident when their house caught on fire, leaving a huge open hole in the ceiling. It took a while for the family to recover. And we even have to organize a fund drive in the community, to help with the expenses. But, alas, after six months or repairs and renovation, the house is in tip top shape and we’re supposed to go to the house’s blessing, or re-blessing. My family and I are giving their family this Personalized Party Berverage Cooler since it’s going to be a barbecue.

The house caught on fire because of faulty wiring. It was the holidays at that time and some of the Christmas lights were left unchecked and un-repaired when they were used night after night, and even keep it on while they are sleeping already. The wires short circuited and before the family knew it, flames already ate up the Christmas decors in the living room.

It’s a good thing everyone in the family got out alive. The fire happened in the wee hours of the morning, just mere days before Christmas.

After this incident, everyone in our homeowner community had to double check our own lighting system, lest we become victims of the same incident.
